Telephoto Of Mount Goddard

I know that I have done an article about Courtright Reservoir before but there is some new content worth posting another article. The air was not good for telephoto shots but I included some with the LeConte Divide and especially Mt. Goddard. I wanted to see it from a distance before I attempt to go to Martha Lake at the foot of Mt. Goddard in Goddard Canyon. It is a giant mountain visible from many locations including Hell-For-Sure Pass, Evolution Basin, Kaiser Peak, Mt. Givens, White Bark and even some higher office buildings in Fresno CA.
Harlan Young from our church approached it from the Maxson Trailhead, through Red Mountain Basin from Courtright and climbed it here: https://midsierramusing.blogspot.com/2015/07/harlan-youngs-solo-of-mount-goddard.html
I will be going from Florence Lake into Kings Canyon Park and then into Goddard Canyon. My primary goal is to photograph Lake Martha, the headwaters of the South Fork of the San Joaquin River.
Today, while photographing Mt. Goddard from the Courtright Vista, I ran into a couple of cycling friends Jan and Nancy who were there to assist a Fresno Cycling Club ride from Shaver Lake and Dinkey Creek.
I also ran into Nina and her dog near one of the cabins built by Shorty a trapper who built several cabins in the area. Courtright is really a fore bay For Wishon Reservoir below it. There is a huge tunnel connecting the two.
