Dale Matson
Almost every summer afternoon the clouds form a promising layer
over the foothills and mountains. It is not possible in this, the fourth year of our draught, to look without hoping that those same clouds bring rain to the Sierras.
Sometimes the view is better than other
times. I couldn't resist driving to the east side of Fresno at Copper and
Auberry Road for these photographs. I used an adapted Canon 17-40mm f4 lens, a
Sony Zeiss 55mm 1.8 and a Sony G 70-200mm lens about 5pm.
